once upon a time… four house headz from uk, us and europe were separated. but one day, their fate crossed the same road. as they shared the same vision of house music and harmony. they worked hard with some magical & musical beans… and one day, a piece of wax appeared which was called “magnetic”. indeed, this wax has something definitely magnetic. the melodies, the vocal hooks, the atmosphere? definitely! and yet it remained underground until the magnetic power of this wax revealed! since that day, international dj’s like: amine edge & dance, sam divine, ben mono, mike millrain or dave meyer, to name a few, play and support that magnetic sound... today, this magnetic strength is revealed to you! (... and they had many children.)

after a longer than usual break gamm enterprises is back on black plastic but more important... we got a brand new design! for those who don t know gamm has been delivering dance music of the blacker kind for almost 15 years but always with the same look. basically, a visual facelift was long overdue. but we think you ll feel it as much as we do and it really works beautifully with our musical ideology. so, for the (new) premier release we got an incognito producer that is rumoured to come from a small town in mexico. having finally agreed for a brief skype call he appeared wearing none other than a bright luchador mask and giving one-word answers with a strong mexican accent. no matter how convincing that was we still can t help thinking his name sounds pretty close to another producer that is to put it mildly, pretty hyped at the moment. musically the ep is ranging from percussive carnival disco (carnival in manchester) to brazilian fusion grooves (jazz in italics) and independent disco/funk (dues paid fast). either way you ll definitely find something that will work your party. gamm is back and back with musical vengeance!

oh! my god recordings presents its 13th launch before this christmas. this time at the expense of tobsen graale, known by his collabs with artists as christian burkhardt, in labels like tanzbar musik or trenton records. an ep loaded with old school techno and a high dose of groove that comes along with 2 incredible remixes. the first side of the disc gives name to itself, monitoring state and daso ( espectral sound / still vor talent) give a touch of techno-house with a taste of the german producer style to their remix. the side b belongs to the original track the universe next door. a travel into the past of the most pure electronic, along with the remix from human halo and the new member of the omgr family, jos vogel, giving it a fresh touch of sound. howard the duck is back!

boris bunnik needs little introduction, a prolific producer who uses an array of monikers to release his many personalities. he has released on many labels including delsin, clone, m.o.s and pinkman to name a few. for polychange bunnik finds the balance between abstract, ethereal and jacking across all 4 tracks to create the sound of his unique take on electro.

back in the days at the west-saxon highlands there was a missile, which marked the starting point. when credit 00 saw the legendary rocket rise on tetris’ final screen, it was the first time he became aware of electronic music at all. since then it actually hasn’t changed that much. he keeps pushing that buttons that belong to the impressive pool of music machines towered up next to his bed. after moving to dresden in 2000 to study fine arts, his passion for synthesizers and drum machines got nurtured through visits of dresden’s club-canalisation. he quickly made himself a name as a dj, who is just doing his own thing and got popular for that reason. as a part of the idealfun-crew he started hosting parties always in the twilight zone between legal and illegal. this led to “robo dance”, dresden’s only and (also for some other reasons) best electro club night featuring guests like dmx krew, luke eargoogle or imatran voima. the track credit made with randy barracuda of imatran voima has probably been created some time after the show. apparently, randy was not in good shape anymore and so “lebensraum” unmistakably bears credit’s hallmarks. for his own music he’s inspired by cannibal movies, number theory and birds. still, his music is not easy to pigeonhole. after all, he loves synth wave, electro, afro, kraut, kosmische, disco, italo, miami bass and other proto stuff – a lot of machine music.

night tides sophomore release welcomes two new names to the family. thommyy ra an simonn bring us the lost journey ep, a 6 tracker of analogue laden esoteric house. on the a, we have thommyy ra, label boss at nasty habits tape cltr and prone to a bi-annual name change, he contributed the silty seth nk remix of eluize’s “up all night on our labels debut record earlier this year. he opens with journey into nowhere, an eerie, coasting, synth drenched opus propelled by throbbing percussion and rippling leads, follows with die darling die a 90s touched, left of centre house cut, complete with a skipping kick and playfully nostalgic horn, and wraps the side with creepy, deep and groove heavy razzy moon. on the b, we introduce simonn for his first excursion on wax. unknown habits is a straight up, tried-and-tested party piece, its vibrant chords pulse amongst thumping drums issuing an undeniable call to the floor. he then turns his hand to something more aquatic, amphibious pads swell in lost in progress while layering percussion build before erupting into a euphoric break beat. finally, raw and unbleached is a delicate arpeggio outing, melodic ideas tumble and burst over one another, its light and dreamy yet gritty, innocence in sound
